  7. 7

    Bucegi Mountains, Romania

In 2009, the book Transylvanian Sunrise was published, causing a stir in the paranormal research community. The book chronicles a “discovery” under the Romanian Sphinx located in the Bucegi Mountains.

The book discusses a joint effort between the U.S. and Romanian governments to explore tunnels under the sphinx that lead to rooms that possessed advanced technology. Most of the world believes the book to be a work of fiction. However, there are a select few that claim the book is true and the two governments are hiding a find that would change mankind forever.
In the book there are described two possible entrances: first one is the Ialomicioara Cave that has an entire church built at it's entrance and it is guarded by monks 24/7 with several parts of it restricted for public visitors, while the second one is Ratei Cave. This one is completely closed to the public with metal doors and even professional speleologists are not allowed to visit.

So, it can be a very well documented book that created a legend or just a big coincidence, but the reality clearly shows you are restricted to digg deeper!

    Mount Ararat, Turkey

Most Christians identify Mount Ararat with the biblical "mountains of Ararat," despite the fact that six other landing places have been proposed, "largely because it would have been the first peak to emerge from the receding flood waters." Ararat is where the European tradition and most of Western Christianity place the landing of Noah's Ark. Since the mid-1990's, the use of the Internet has enabled ark researchers to better communicate and coordinate research information and options. With advanced communication and high-tech research tools, i.e., high resolution satellite imagery, ground penetrating radar, unmanned aircraft, and many other techniques, we can now safely say that we have the capability to answer the question as to whether actual remains of Noah's Ark are still existent today.

Ararat was declared a military restricted zone and climbers as well as any type of research were banned from the mountain. The reasons are not yet clear
